I began painting at a time of emotional overwhelm, when I needed a physical way to release what filled my head. On the floor of my old barn, I laid out a large piece of canvas, plunged my hands into house paint, and threw with my whole being. Fear, love, despair, hope, all of it landed in color. It was raw, messy, and honest, and gave me the first real breath I’d had in a long time. 

What started as pure release slowly softened. The colors shifted. The movement changed. Painting became less about surviving the moment and more about noticing the beauty within it. And today, my studio is my playgound.. expressive color, layered textures, and movement that carries emotion without needed to explain it.

I create original paintings, prints, and cards for anyone who needs a moment of calm or a reminder that beauty can grow out of difficult places.
