One of my favorite songs from the band Rush is "Fly by Night". During those dark days when overwhelm makes it hard to see the good, I'm drawn to this song and envision just that.
After I finished this painting, I stood back and could see a bird taking flight, and so its name was born. Never fails to lift the veil and give me hope.
